Whats up everyone!!!! I know I have been off the radar for a minute...but its only because I have been looking for my next direction.

Its the mixtape era, and Im not exempt from the mixtape game so I have been working on some new music to drop in your lap soon. Im still campaigning to be your favorite MC in 09. In the meantime we have put together a brand new TV show based off of myspace for your enjoyment!

Myspace Beat Jacking is simple. I finds a producer on myspace who has a hot track and freestyles over it on the spot.

Every producer that gets beatjacked gets all their info and links posted on our blog and at the end of every video. This is pure fun...the purpose of Hip Hop to begin with. So add us as a friend and come back often because I am a beatjacking monster!

The first week show gets its beats from my man Leon Juke...a very cool cat with fly beats and an original sound. I am happy to shine some light on him.

First things first...anyone of you non showgoers will not be able to relate to any of this. So unless you are the type of person to go to a live show, you can never understand the beauty of what I witnessed on this night!

Lets begin

The line was around the block and up the street...friggin crazy!! It was a free concert so everybody bounced from work early to take in some lyrics from one of the greatest rappers to ever live!

I was online for about 15 minutes until my dude Jicly hit me and told me Fuck the line B...we good!

So I left the line and mad my way to the black velvet rope where a ticket was waiting for me!

Trust me I was excited...I was just being cool...I am a rapper...*sigh*...lol j/k

As we get inside we chill in a pushy crowd who actually began to boo due to the hour late start...Im thinking "What the hell is your problem people!!!? Its a free concert!"

But after the DJ played "unbelievable" by B.I.G. the crowd had forgotten all their NY State of Mind impatience and fell back into the festive mood...the lights dropped...and...

out comes the legendary....wearing the rudest track jacket ever...an official olympic basketball jacket equipped with charactatures of the players on the back!!! I thought I was fresh in my new GDM prosperity T...Im gonna need to add some track jackets to our line to compete with Nasir!!!

He rocked well and his mic sounded nice...a rarity for live shows nowadays!

Then the camera phone fuckers came out!!!

Seriously why film the live show into your phone??? The whole show??? Really???

I mean whats the point...just watch it on TV if you are not gonna pay attention and watch the shit with the two eyes God gave you!!!! X( AAARrrrgggg!!!!!!

"The idea was and is still to build a visual language around the music and put it in its own universe. Then i work with my own stories aswell, much inspiration right now comes from the phenomen Secret Societies and The Power of the elements in the nature. Right now im working on part II in a story where a group of people have learned to control the power of nature and use it as a kind of weapon against humanity. When you look at the Dw design page you might get the impression that all my work is inspired from Sci-fi, Retro and Future but this represents the Dw Design project which is very important to me but, then in other projects i find other inspirations."

In May of 2007 Matt Damon was quoted as saying.

“We have ridden that horse as far as we can.” He admitted to feeling like “a bit of a prostitute for putting out two number threes in one year.”

This basically put all rumors of a fourth and fifth finale of the Bourne Series to bed, but recently Peter Sciretta of Slashfilms.com reports that there will be another Bourne film and it will take place in South America.

The original post says:

"Producer Frank Marshall revealed to IESB plans to begin shooting a fourth Jason Bourne movie next Summer, for release in 2010. Universal announced the project back in February, with director Paul Greengrass and star Matt Damon set to return. When Street Fighter 4's creater Ono was asked about creating the next MvC game. He replied simply:

"I would love to make another Marvel vs Capcom!"

Well the screenshot above gives us reason to believe it has already begun.

It is a know fact that Capcom has lost the rights to use Marvel characters and EA Games has bought those rights since then. The fact is EA has made these horrible birds eye view games and the most awkward fighters ever!! Noone likes them!!! Well not this Nerd at Least! We know that Marvel vs Capcom 2 is the most successful and hallowed 2D fighter ever created. If you go to ebay right now and try to purchase a copy the average price will be in the hundreds or high 90's for an intact copy. So why not give us the next chapter and include all the characters we have been waiting for, like Carnage, Ghost Rider, Dante from Devil May Cry, The cast of Lost Planet, NightCrawler, Bishop and Nemesis...to name a few.

Until then, if anyone wants to try their luck against me in Marvel vs Capcom 2, just know Ive been called the east Coast Shogun.

In the last few years we have witnessed the rebirth of the VOCODER. This is a timely comeback for such an iconic electro instrument as the New-Rave-Electro-Ghettotech scene is sharing the love into popular music. As many know, bands such as Cromeo, Daft Punk are basing their hooks and vibes around this lead instrument and placing it in the context of a semi-ironic yet powefull format. In many ways its a hard instrument to place. Some make no excuses for the artificial flavor and phrase their lines in a robotic and non-human way. At the same time, the gap between the second and first waves of popularity make it an exiting new toy for the new music world. I guess the vocoder is like a lava lamp, cool like 30 years ago, kitsch and lame for the last 15 years and now 'retro' yet fly as hell.

Speaking or roots, a main pioneer of the vocoder in a musical and complex sense has got to be HERBIE HANCOCK. Check out his 1977 track 'Come Running to Me' off the album 'Sunlight'. It is probably the best exploration of this instrument of that era for sure.

Groundbreaking, still valid, plus flowing with coolness.

Note the phrasing and vibrato on the lines. It sits back as if it was the Dream's 'Nikki' yet explores the angular melody's and passages that Herbie became famous for. This track should be inspiration for all modern producers messing with the Vocoder. Imagine the possibilities!!!!

A prominent figure on the international menswear scene, Ozwald began tailoring at the age of 16. His entirely self taught skills led him to set up a design studio on London’s famous Portobello Road, in his early twenties. It was from here that his reputation as a unique British tailor grew. If you have the extra time (nerd) attempt catch all the different samples he uses in this track.
